    Finding the right information quickly is essential for the more than 600 service technicians worldwide. They can access all documents on any device - even offline and regardless of the data source or format. This gives employees the flexibility they need to maintain, install or repair the robots.

    If no information is yet available for specific problems, service technicians and 2nd level support work out a new solution. In this way, KUKA ensures that the knowledge database grows continuously through the transfer of expertise, that no isolated knowledge is created and that all employees always have access to the latest information.

    Development of a new business model

    The knowledge platform is not only used internally, but also by partners and customers who receive role-based access to certain information. Of the more than 6,300 users on the platform, more than half are customers - and the trend is rising. In this way, KUKA is driving forward the digitalization of technical documentation and has developed a new business model with paid premium accounts, which also contributes to the refinancing of the portal.
