The company, headquartered in Jena, Germany, is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of microscopes and a leading provider of microscope solutions for life science and materials research, quality assurance and quality control.
With the Customer Solution Award, Empolis annually recognizes successful collaboration in the implementation of intelligent service solutions. This year, the award goes to the “Mira” knowledge management system from Carl Zeiss Microscopy, which is based on the cloud-based software solution Empolis Service Express.
With Mira, Carl Zeiss Microscopy digitalizes all service knowledge for more than 1,000 service employees worldwide, accelerates processes and increases service quality. All expert information from instructions, documentation, spare parts catalogs, solved tickets and even marketing documents are made available via a central and simple navigation – in 12 languages and both on- and offline.
